Angie's photo session

Here are the pictures I did for my friend Angie. She is a musician and needed some shots for her new CD album. We went down to Discovery Green Park.

We had loads of fun walking around downtown and the park! We also got free drinks for helping a lady mover her little drink cart! It was really cool!!

High school senior portraits

This is the photo session I did for my sister's friend Natalia. This was my second ever senior photo shoot and I was very proud of it. I got to try out some new poses and different options.

Of course it helped a whole lot that the girl was very photogenic and pretty. So I am super happy that it all went ok :)

Girl in the red head band

This particular session has a very good story behind it :) it thought me a good lesson.

A while back, about a year and a half ago or so, one of my mom's friends came over to the house with her daughter and asked if I could photograph her so that she could send the pictures to her dad in Mexico. Of course I said yes, and we did a session and the pictures came out awesome and I edited them and they were ready to print, BUT after that I lost contact with the lady. I never heard from her again.

Well Saturday I saw her at my mom's house! Completely by accident, and she asked me if I had done h daughter's pictures, so I said yes! And then I remembered that I had my iPad with me and that I could show her right away! So I did. She saw them and picked the ones she wanted to print and now I have closure on that job :D

Anyways, here are my favorite shots from that session.

And there they are :) I hope you guys like them!

Sweet Angel girl

A while back I did some pictures for my hair dresser's daughter. Now let me tell you although she was a hand full ;) she was very very photogenic! She has such a beautiful smile!

She is just precious! She had so much fun and so did I! If there is a reason why I love doing kids photography is because they make it so much fun! And they never ever do the same pose! I always end up with hundreds of photographs when I'm done :)

My First Quinceañera Photo Shoot

Here is the first time I did quinceañera photo session. It wasn't her actual Quinceañera, but she had an extra dress and she posed for me :) she was very good at modeling and also very pretty so it made it cry easy for me to manage.

All in all I think they came out pretty good for my first quinceañera photography, and I can't wait till the next one!!! Specially since I am doing free weddings and quinceañeras this month and next!!!

Personally I prefer to do the pictures outside because there is a lot more options and scenery to choose from beside the awesome natural lighting, but this wasn't too bad for my first rodeo :)

Rebecca's day at the park

This is my baby cousin, Rebecca, she was about two years old at the time when I took these picture. Besides being so awesomely photogenic, She is very active!! Which isn't always a good thing when you are taking pictures, but in this situation is worked for the best :)

She was running around having fun and I was chasing her around the park with my camera, she said she wanted to take some pictures too, so I let her borrow my old film camera and she pretended to take picture of the trees and the kids around us.

She was so much fun and gave me so many good shots :) I loved shooting her and hope I get to photograph her again soon!!!

Senior Pictures

A few years back I started my photography business and High School Senior portraits was my first type of photography to experiment. Finally after so long I have decided to start a blog to show people my work. I wouldn't call myself a professional photographer because I do not have a degree, but I do love photography and have a special eye to capture those special moments.

We will start off with my sister's Senior portraits. Since my family was running short on money around those days and we didn't get a chance to buy my sister the school senior pictures, we decided that I would take her downtown and take her pictures.

Surprisingly enough this was loads of fun! At the time I was taking a photography class at the University of Houston, so I decided to take my old film camera and my Dad's new film camera and took some pictures of my sister. It helps a lot that she is very photogenic, but I'd like to think that my little bit of talent had a little bid to do with it :)
